10. Volvo Active High Beam Control
A frequent occurrence when driving on the roadways at night is to encounter another truck or SUV with their high beams illuminated. Not only does this make it difficult to maintain position on the highway, but can prove dangerous. Unfortunately, many of the roads in the United States and abroad almost require drivers to keep their high beams illuminated in order to properly see the road at night in certain conditions. Volvo has addressed these issues with the company’s Active High Beam Control feature. The tech allows the driver to keep the high beams on all of the time without impacting other drivers. Once the system detects another car or truck ahead of your auto on the road, it will shade the portion of the high beam that will dazzle the other driver without any manual intervention required.
