The low cost and high utility of the Jeep Renegade makes it a great choice for an all-wheel drive vehicle. Power comes from a 160 horsepower 1.4 liter turbocharged four-cylinder coupled to a six-speed manual or a 180 horsepower 2.4 liter with a nine-speed automatic. The exterior is somewhat cutesy, with a toy like appearance. The interior is very roomy and the cargo area has plenty of space for whatever you want to haul around. True to Jeep’s standards, the Renegade can handle off-road just as well as it can handle the pavement. Road imperfections and body roll are non-issues for this ride. The only downside is it can be a bit loud at highway speeds due to engine whine.
