13. Dodge Challenger
The Dodge Challenger isn’t what comes to most people’s minds when they think of a coupe, but it does fit in the category. This a muscle car with a V8 engine even in the base models. A V6 engine is also available for people who would prefer better gas mileage. The MSRP for a basic V6 is $26,995 and for a V8 with upgraded trim, you could expect to pay $29,995.
Surprisingly, the gas mileage is not nearly as bad as one may expect on these sports cars as well. The V6 will get 15 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway. The larger engine will get 14 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway. Obviously, this is not nearly as good as the fuel economy on other cars we have discussed, but the Challenger comes with a great deal more power.
If you are interested in a coupe, keep in mind that you have quite a few options. Some are sportier and quick while others maintain more of a family car style and provide better gas mileage and storage space. No matter what you are looking for, if you choose a coupe from this list, you can expect a quality vehicle at an affordable price tag too.
