4. Acura NSX 1990-2005, 2015- Japan
The Acura NSX, also sold as the Honda NSX, is a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive, sports car powered by a light weight all aluminum V6. Equipped with Honda’s VTEC system (variable valve timing and lift electric control), the car was based on the designs of Italy auto designer Pininfarina. The NSX was Honda’s testament that they could build a sports car to rival anything made in Italy or Germany. They succeeded and the NSX has become a favorite among Honda and Acura drivers. The second generation of the NSX debuted as a concept car in 2012, featuring a V6 electric hybrid powertrain and all-wheel drive. The new NSX hit the market next year and is expected to make a splash.
