43. Ford F-Series 1948-present United States
Ford F-Series pickup trucks literally built America. The full-sized pickup truck built by the Ford Motor Company has been the best-selling vehicle in the US for the past 32 years and the best-selling pickup for the past 43. It also has the distinction of being the best-selling vehicle in Canada. The truck, which has been produced continuously since 1948, has seen thirteen generations. The most popular F-Series is the F-150, currently Ford’s lightest weight pickup. It was the second generation of F-Series which introduced the F-100, with an improved engine and increased dimensions. The F-100 was very popular until Ford ceased its production in 1983, making the F-150 the model for those seeking smaller trucks.
