54. Jaguar E-Type 1961–1975 United Kingdom
The Jaguar E-Type, or the XK-E as it was also know, was a sports car produced by Jaguar Cars LTD. The long-nosed sportster was available as a coupe or a roadster. The E-Type was high performance, gorgeous, and, best of all, it was priced competitively.The Daily Telegraph online listed the E-Type as one of the 100 most beautiful cars ever made. Sports Car International Magazine called the E-Type the best sports car of the 1960’s. This unbelievable package of luxury, beauty, and performance was fairly affordable compared to other cars in its class. More than 70,000 were sold. These reasons are why the Jaguar E-Type was also a finalist for Car of the Century.
