91. Subaru Impreza 1992-present Japan
The Impreza is a compact car made by Japanese automaker Subaru, available in either four-door sedan or five-door hatchback since its inception in 1992. Available in front-wheel drive, or all-wheel drive, the compact’s design has a lower than average center of gravity, making it able to corner superbly. A quick, zippy ride powered naturally aspirated “boxer” flat-four engines ranging from 1.5- to 2.5-liters, the Impreza has been in production since 1992, now in its fourth generation. High performance Impreza variants, the Impreza WRX and WRX STI, are available with turbochargers. WRX’s have enjoyed competitive motorsport success. At an affordable cost, this vehicle packs superb handling with all-wheel drive prowess. An Outback Sport edition is also available, which is an Outback design on anImpreza frame.
