11. Mercedes-Benz SLS
Top speed: 196 MPH
The Mercedes SLS is one of the better known sports cars with gull wing doors still found on the roads today. The auto was the first car to be fully designed by in-house engineers at AMG, and it was the designated successor to the McLaren. The auto was fully assembled by hand when in production to include the engine. The car first debuted in 2009 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and was sold in both the United States and Europe during its production run. The auto was sold stock with rear-wheel drive, and the engine is a 6.3 liter V-8 mounted in the front middle portion of the vehicle. The SLS was sold with the transmission option, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
