The stock engine for the luxury automobile is a 2.0 liter inline-four cylinder engine rated at 240 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The 2015 edition of the auto was the first time that Volvo has ever sold a gasoline-powered auto with higher than a 30 MPG rating in the company’s history. Consumers can choose between front and all-wheel drive for the automobile, and the auto has an above average cruising range on a single tank of gasoline at just over 684 miles. The car has a top overall speed of 161 MPH, and the S80 has a zero to 60 MPH time of just 6.8 seconds.
