The 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 is a fuel efficient truck popular in the marketplace today. The truck is designed to be an upscale version of the Silverado, and the stock engine in the vehicle is a 4.3 liter V-6 rated at 285 horsepower that sees an 18 MPG (city) and 24 MPG (highway) overall gas mileage rating. Consumers can also choose to upgrade to one of two V-8 engines when buying the vehicle new that are rated at 355 and 420 horsepower respectfully. All models of the GMS Sierra 1500 come with all-wheel drive as an option, and the top overall speed of the vehicle is 99 MPH. The auto can go from zero to 60 MPH in just 7.3 seconds.
