The Kia Soul is built to be an economical choice when looking for a car. The 130 horsepower 4 cylinder engine isn’t anything to write home about, but the EPA estimate gas mileage of 24 city and 30 highway make up for it. The suspension is finely tuned, offering a smooth ride, and there is no noticeable body roll when making turns,making the Soul shine a little brighter than others in its class. The automatic transmission adds to the price, but is worth it if you don’t want to shift constantly, as the weak engine requires a great deal of it, even just cruising around town. Power windows and locks, satellite radio, and Bluetooth connectivity are the standard features of the soul. In order to get things like keyless entry, heated leather seats, a sunroof, and navigation you would need to upgrade to the more expensive Soul + or !.
