9. Mazda 6

The Mazda 6 outperformed its competitors in comparison tests done by multiple reviewers, yet its sales don’t reflect the vehicles superiority. A total of 53,224 units sold in 2014, compared to the Toyota Camry or the Honda Accord those numbers are terrible. Both the Camry and Accord outsold that number by the start of March in 2014. The Mazda 6 has a great engine, producing 184 horsepower and reaching 60 mph in 7 seconds, while still getting 37 mpg highway. The interior has a nice upscale feel to it, with high quality plastics used. The suspension is well tuned and the steering responsive. The really doesn’t seem to be any valid reason that the Mazda 6 doesn’t perform as well as the others in its class.
