10. Mazda MX-5 Miata
The Mazda Miata has a large following behind it, with all kinds of car clubs dedicated to it. With the new Mazda Miata MX-5, it’s no secret why. With a 155 horsepower, 2.0-liter four cylinder mated to a six speed transmission, the Miata MX-5 is a speed demon on wheels. Mazda uses a lot of aluminium in the construction of the Miata, keeping weight down, which allows the small engine to propel it at blazing speeds. The suspension is tuned to keep the Miata MX-5 planted on the ground when making high speed maneuvers, with a smooth ride when just cruising down the road. Standard features include Bluetooth, a USB port, an auxiliary audio input, and a manual-folding convertible soft top. A power-folding convertible top is not available. Optional features include automatic climate control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, and a Mazda Connect infotainment system with a Bose stereo, satellite radio, and navigation.
