9. Ford Mustang
The Ford Mustang is an iconic American muscle car, and one of the first cars that comes to mind when the term “muscle car” is said. The Mustang has an engine for all your driving needs. A 300-hp 3.7-liter V-6, a 310-hp 2.3-liter turbo four-cylinder, and a 435-hp 5.0-liter V-8 are all offered with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic. While the automatic shifts smoothly and doesn’t hamper the Mustang’s speed, the six-speed manual is just way more fun to drive. The independant rear suspension improves the Mustang’s cornering ability, which is always a plus on rear-wheel drive vehicles. The features available for the Mustang include a rearview camera, proximity key, Bluetooth, two USB ports, and Ford’s voice-controlled SYNC system. Adaptive cruise control, Ford’s MyFord Touch infotainment system, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, and a 12-speaker Shaker audio system are optional.
