11. Lexus LC 500

Lexus may have avoided using the term “sports car” to describe the LC500, but the vehicle has many sports car attributes. The engine is positioned behind the front axle centerline, the wheels are situated at the corners of the vehicle, the driver’s hip point was engineered to be as close to the vehicle’s center of gravity as possible, an active spoiler optimizes downforce, and the vehicle is constructed using race car materials. If that doesn’t scream sports car, I don’t know what does. The LC 500 looks poised to be a more accessible high end sports car than the Lexus LFA, which was limited to only 500 units. The LC 500 is powered by a 5.0 liter V8 that produces 467 horsepower and 389 lb-ft of torque and it’s mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
