24. Audi H-Tron Quattro
With the H-Tron Quattro Audi is promising a zero-emissions car whose electric motors allow it to drive 370 miles, and then can be refueled in four minutes to do it again. That’s a tall order but the car manufacturer thinks they can fill it. The H-Tron promises clean, quiet driving, all wheel grip, and a 124 mph top speed. The powertrain combines a 121 horsepower electric motor driving the front wheels and a 188 horsepower electric motor on the rear axle. The fuel cell system usually supplies 148 horsepower, but the supplemental lithium-ion battery pack can almost double that on demand, giving the driver temporary bursts of 134 additional horsepower. Just in case you need to race someone on the highway or engage in a high speed chase.
