The newest iteration of Dodge’s Ram 1500 manages to be much more fuel efficient than its predecessor without sacrificing capability. It is a very popular pickup truck. The Ram 1500 comes in three cab styles—regular, Quad cab, and Crew cab. It also offers three wheelbases, and 4×2 or 4×4 drive types. You can get it packed with a 3.6 liter V6, 5.7 liter HEMI V8, or a 3.0 liter V6 turbo diesel engine. Dodge opted for a Multi-link coil spring suspension in the rear, rather than the traditional leaf spring suspension, which results in a much nicer ride and better handling. Payload and towing capacity remain impressive.
