Starting price: approximately $23,600
The MINI Countryman is a more practical entry into the crossover market from MINI. For those who have driver cars sold by the company in the past, the Countryman is basically an expanded version of the Clubman; albeit, with a much longer wheelbase and additional ground clearance. The auto is powered by a 1.6 liter four cylinder engine rated at 121 HP. The Countryman is available in either a six-speed manual (standard) or automatic transmission. For consumers desiring all-wheel drive, the S model provides this and other upgrades taking the price of the auto to approximately $30,000. The Countryman’s fuel efficiency is one of the best in the crossover market rated at 28 MPG city / 35 MPG highway.
