The 1969 Z28 Camaro is one of the most amazing of the first generation of vintage Camaros. The 69 Z28 was built to deliver a sports car capable of racing with a great amount of effort paid to its style. The car could do the quarter-mile when new in 14.8 seconds at speeds just topping 100 MPH. Combined with disc brakes and power steering, drivers raved about how the car stood out compared to the other Muscle cars of the time. When upgrading to the Z28 performance package, the car came with a 302 V-8 that was air cooled from the cowl induction hood. The car was also a success on the racetrack having won in the Trans Am series in both 1968 and 1969. Today, the auto is a popular addition to high end car collections around the world.
