The 1970 454 Chevelle SS (Super Sport) is one of the most amazing vintage Muscle Cars out there. The car’s 454 cubic inch V-8 engine is rated at 360 horsepower, and it was the standard stock engine for the vehicle. Combined with a smooth appearing interior and racing stripes, the auto was extremely popular with consumers. The auto also sold with an updated dashboard design, and handled significantly better that previous models of the Chevelle. The car could run the quarter-mile when new in less than 14 seconds, and remains an extremely popular vintage auto amongst car collectors today.
