The 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO is one of the sexiest and most amazing vintage cars of all time. Besides looing nice, the car was also extremely pleasant to drive compared to other high-end race cars of its day. The car is powered by V-12 engine rated at 300 horsepower, and was known for having to be constantly worked on or tweaked in between races to see its peak performance. There were only 39 total 250 GTOs produced between 1962 and 1964 making the auto even more desirable by collectors today. Of note, when the car was sold new, potential buyers had to go through a vetting process by Enzo Ferrari and his North American dealer, Luigi Chinetti to buy the auto.
