The GMC Acadia SUV scores higher on the Kogod Made in America index than the vaunted Ford F-150 with an 87.5 score on the index. This ties the vehicle for the highest score on the index with four other car / truck models. GMC imports various chassis components, portions of the interior, various electrical parts, and 25% of the vehicle body, but it still scores high enough to maintain the auto’s high ranking. The Arcadia can comfortably seat seven to eight people in addition to being rated to haul a tow of up to 5,200 lbs. The auto comes with a standard 3.6 liter, six cylinder engine pulling 288 horsepower with front-wheel drive as the standard option on the auto. All-wheel drive is available for consumers who require greater control of their auto.
