3. Cadillac ATS

The Cadillac ATS is manufactured by GM, and is tied for being the third most American made car on the market based on the Kogod auto index. Scoring an 82.5, the ATS gets about one third of the electrical components, body, and chassis from outside of the United States. The remainder of the car and the corporate headquarters are all 100% from the U.S.A., which has consistently landed the automobile in the top of the index since it started being manufactured. The ATS is very similar to the BMW 3 series of auto, and it offers a choice between three drive trains for consumers; a 2.5 liter four cylinder engine, a 2.0 liter turbo four cylinder (available with a manual transmission), and a 3.6 liter six cylinder engine. The six cylinder can go from zero to 60 in just 5.6 seconds and features 321 horsepower with a top speed of 149 MPH.
