10. Christine
The real star of Stephen King’s novel and the film that was based off of it is a red 1958 Plymouth Fury. The car had to painted red, as Fury’s only came in one standard color: buckskin beige. In the story, unpopular nerd Arnie Cunningham purchases the Fury, he names it Christine. The car turns out to be haunted and puts Arnie under quite the spell. Concerned about his obsession, Arnie’s friend buddy vandalizes the car. The car restores itself to pristine condition and then proceeds to murder Buddy and all his friends. Christine became the most famous Plymouth Fury of all time, and the unmistakable look of its headlights were likely the only of any auto to ever evoke fear. This is the only car to ever star in a horror movie.
