13. Eleanor from Gone in 60 Seconds
In the popular 2000 remake of a 1974 short film by the same name, star Nicolas Cage is a master car thief tasked with stealing 50 cars in one night. His prized target is a 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 fastback, codenamed Eleanor. Shot in Los Angeles and Long Beach, the movie’s climatic chase scene ends with Cage jumping the Shelby Mustang over a traffic jam on the Vincent Thomas Bridge. Of the 11 cars used to film the movie, only three were drivable, two of which were destroyed filming the bridge jump. The one remaining car recently sold at action for $1 million. Though the paint year and paint style have become increasingly popular since the film.
