12. Buick Regal
This Buick has an interesting history that explains why it is not a true Buick, but something better. The Germans actually developed this car under the brand name Opel Insignia years ago. Thanks to the financial crisis, the Saturn line under which it was to be sold in America suffered a permanent shut down by General Motors. In the end with no other place to call home, the once to be named Saturn Aura became the Buick Regal. Once again, it is no Buick.
The car is better for not being a Buick. It offers fantastic steering, tremendous power out of the upgraded turbo engine, and supremely tight suspension. The car provides terrific thrills running down a winding road. Unfortunately for this excellent car, it is passed over all the time thanks to Buick’s grandmotherly reputation. In truth, this is among the cheapest sports sedans made in Europe that you can find anywhere.
