15. 1967 Pontiac GTO
Top speed: 120 MPH
The 1967 Pontiac GTO is one of our most favorite classic cars of all time. The 1967 edition of the GTO was the first to see a full model year GTO using ram air through a hood scoop on the automobile. The car is powered by a 400 cubic inch V-8 rated at 360 horsepower with a top overall speed of 120 MPH. The classic muscle car was sold with either a three or four-speed manual transmission or a choice of a three-speed automatic on some model options of the vehicle. The car could go from zero to 60 MPH in just 5.2 seconds when new, and it could run the quarter-mile in 13.8 seconds. The 1968 edition of the auto was also the first to feature emissions controls and front outboard shoulder belts for safety.
