Chevy Trax Pleases with Passable Safety Scores and Good In-Town Driving
This model is often called a twin to the Buick Encore, but offers the plus of a lower cost for buyers. Although the Trax has basically the same structural platform and “okay” safety scores as the Chevy Sonic subcompact, the Trax includes no crash controlling or inhibiting technology. Slow acceleration rates and lackadaisical highway performance lessen this crossover’s desirability and safety for long road trips. However, its heavy-duty construction and height lend strong elements of safety for drivers and passengers alike in any kind of driving conditions. Although not a fast-driving auto, the 2016 Trax from Chevy is easy enough to handle and park with roomy passenger space and the normal variety of creature comforts.
