New Tech Advancements of the 2016 Subaru Impreza for Road Security
This 2016 model from Subaru has multiple advanced technology improvements for frontal crash prevention. Buyers can also opt for new EyeSight features such as enhanced cruise control, lane-departure prompts and auto-braking pre-collision for ultimate driving safety. This car won a Top Safety Pick position from IIHS. The Impreza and the WRX are the only 2016 vehicles in the small-car category to be honored with top-tier ratings for frontal crash prevention advancements from the IIHS. This Impreza model avoided crashing at test speeds of 12 mph and 25 mph. Although not a top scorer in the braking testing, the Impreza did achieve a full stop in 119 feet while traveling at 60 mph. A top contender was the Ford Focus, stopping in just 105 feet. However, the Impreza’s 119-foot halting distance is high enough to keep it within the high level of functionality for this test.
