In the small front overlap test, the Toyota Prius V scored “good” in all categories. Driver space was maintained well, with a maximum intrusion of 9 cm at the parking brake pedal, and an upper intrusion of 3-5 cm at the instrument panel. According to measurements taken from the dummy, no significant injury was recorded, giving a low chance of injury in a crash of this severity.
