7. Rolls-Royce Wraith
The Rolls-Royce Wraith shares its DNA with the Rolls-Royce Ghost, but it has its own sporty personality. Powered by a 624 horsepower twin-turbocharged V-12 engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, the Wraith is a powerhouse of a vehicle. The suspension is expertly tuned and consists of multi-link front and rear wheel attachments, air springs, electronically controlled dampers, and automatically adjusting anti-roll bars. All this amounts to a smooth ride when cruising and an accurate, responsive ride when speeding along. Rear-hinged power doors add to the unique look of the Wraith. The eight-speed automatic transmission gets some of its shifting cues from the navigation system, using the incoming data to know when hills or sharp turns are coming up and shifting accordingly.
