12. 2010 Toyota Avalon
The large-sized, luxurious Avalon offers a driver’s seat that can be adjusted eight ways, dual climate controls, automatic up/down power windows, and reclining rear seats with 40.9 inches of rear legroom. The audio system includes a six-disc CD changer and nine speakers. The climate and audio controls are mounted on the steering wheel for easy access. In addition, the Avalon includes auxiliary jacks for iPods and MP3 devices. The exterior is designed to reduce vibration and wind noise, making the passenger cabin pleasantly quiet. While this sedan is as spacious as its other large-sized competitors, it has the driving-dynamics of an easy-to-maneuver smaller car. The 268-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine achieves an estimated 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.
