5. 2014 Ford Taurus Sedan
The Ford Taurus is a larger option than the Fusion that goes beyond a large rear window, a rearview camera, and front and rear parking sensors by including active parallel-park assistance. The car handles parallel parking on its own. Keyless entry and start with a lower door sill make access easy. Both the driver and passenger seats have six-way power adjustment with adjustable lumbar support. The high-contrast instrument panel improves visibility while larger audio and climate controls make operation easy. The Taurus includes adjustable foot pedals as well as a thick steering wheel that tilts and telescopes. A huge trunk provides ample room. The Taurus comes with a six-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel-drive is available. The 288-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine achieves 19 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.
