The 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 was originally built to satisfy the class rules to allow Chevrolet to race the car in the Sports Car Club of America’s Trans-Am racing class. Once built, it was one of the fastest Camaros ever built, and runs the quarter-mile in 13.75 seconds at 107 MPH. The 302 cubic inch engine was designed by mating a 283 crank with a 327 engine block, and it is rated at 290 horsepower. The curbside weight of the car is approximately 3,480 lbs, and it remains one of the most classic Camaros ever produced.
