The popular truck is responsible for 79 passenger deaths per million registered owners on average. Of these deaths, 17 came from single-vehicle rollovers and 36 from single-vehicle crashes. The pickup has performed under the average for crash test results dating back to 2012, but Chevrolet has been working to make the truck safer in the meantime. The truck features an eight cylinder, 6.2 liter engine that can go from zero to 60 MPH in 5.7 seconds, and it can run the quarter mile in 14.3 seconds with a top speed of 98 MPH.
