The Volkswagen German auto brand is one of the top-selling brands today. The established auto manufacturer sold 349,440 autos during the 2015 calendar year for a net decrease of 4.9% compared to 2014. The brand still maintained a 2.0% market share; however the December sales figure of 30,956 autos represented a net decrease of 9.1% compared to the previous year. Some of the more popular auto models sold by the brand include the VW Passat, VW Jetta, VW Beetle, VW Golf and Golf GTI, and the premium SUV, the Touareg.
