11. Hyundai Santa Cruz Concept (2015)

Hyundai must have never heard of the flop that was the Subaru Baja, because they are repeating history with their Santa Cruz concept vehicle. The vehicle appears to suffer the same identity crisis as the Baja, although instead of a station wagon that thinks it’s a truck, the Santa Cruz looks like an SUV and a truck were smushed together to create an abomination. Hyundai thinks the vehicle will be perfect for what they call “urban adventurers.” The vehicle doesn’t focus on the traditional attributes of a pickup or SUV and instead is designed to meet consumers desires for “expression, efficiency, and maneuverability.” Seem like Hyundai is over estimating how large the market is for such a niche car and if it reaches production will probably go the way of the Baja.
