12. Honda Urban SUV Concept (2013)

In an attempt to tap into the low cost crossover market, Honda designed the Urban SUV concept. Unlike most of their designs, the concept displayed at the 2013 Detroit auto show was rather lackluster. It looked like a run of the mill SUV and didn’t command attention. Considering they were trying to compete with already established cars in that field like the Juke from Nissan and the Soul from Kia, they should have designed something that looked different and set them apart from the pack. The Urban SUV’s specs were great for a small crossover, focusing in gas mileage and reliability, but the design didn’t do much to wow the crowds. Seeing as how Honda still intends to release the vehicle at some point, hopefully it will get a design upgrade before Honda releases it, as well as a name change.
