14. Toyota FCV Plus Concept (2015)

The FCV Plus concept from Toyota certainly looks unique, but as an actual car it’s doubtful this thing will ever see production. Toyota plans to build the vehicle so that it generates electricity while it drives, so it can be used as a stable source of electricity for your home or as a generator when you are outdoors. They also want to have the vehicle be able to share it’s power generation with the infrastructure of communities. It certainly is a groundbreaking idea, but aside from having a weird, glowing blue chassis, Toyota doesn’t have anything physical to show for when it comes to the FCV Plus. As technology advances maybe they will get to the point when this vehicle is a reality, but as it stands it’s nothing more than a fancy glowing toy on the showroom floor.
