6. Do Not Rush into a Purchase
In the United States, the majority of car salesmen and women work on a per-commission basis. As a result, shoppers will be pushed into making their purchase decision on the same day vice going home to think about the decision. If the consumer has not had the time to appropriately research the make and model of vehicle under consideration for purchase, there is nothing wrong with coming back at a later date to look at the car again. Not only will this help ensure that the purchase is the right one for the shopper, but coming back on another day will also give time to consider if that undercoating option on a new car is really something worth adding to the new car note.
