The Suzuki RM-Z450 is one of the top off-road bikes sold today. The bike has a combined rating of 99 and a starting price of $8,749. The motorcycle is powered by a 449cc 4-stroke engine that is slightly larger than average. The seat height comes in at 37.6 inches which is slightly higher than normal; however, the fuel tank size is 18% smaller than average at 1.6 gallons sacrificing range when compared to other bikes of the same class. The engine is liquid-cooled, DOHC, and has a single cylinder with a bore of 96 inches and stroke of 62.1 inches making it oversquare with more power than bikes with a smaller bore. The RM-Z450 features an electronic ignition that helps to ensure a consistent throttle response and smooth startup.
