The Ford Escape has quietly become one of the top selling cars of 2015. Featuring a stylish interior and an athletic look, the auto saw more than 278,000 vehicles sold during the calendar year and continued to build on its popularity from 2014. The stock engine in the crossover is a V-4 rated at 168 horsepower. Consumers can also choose to upgrade to a turbo-four rated at 178 horsepower or a turbo-four rated at 240 horsepower. All of the Escape options on the market are sold with front-wheel drive as a stock option, and consumers can choose to upgrade to all-wheel drive on the turbo edition of the automobile. The top speed of the Escape is 118 MPH, and the vehicle can go from zero to 60 MPH in just 7.0 seconds. The overall fuel efficiency rating of the vehicle is 21 MPG (city) and 28 MPG (highway).
