The Nissan Altima is one of the top selling automobiles of 2015. Nissan saw a slight uptick in the number of Altimas purchased this year with more than 303,000 being sold. The redesigned auto is designed to deliver a more upscale look and feel, and there are several engine choices available to choose from when buying the auto new. These include a 2.5 liter V-4 rated at 182 horsepower, and a 3.5 liter V-6 rated at 270 horsepower. Both engines are coupled to a CVT, and Nissan incudes paddle shifters and a stiff suspension with the automobile. The maximum speed of the car is 131 MPH, and it can go from zero to 60 MPH in 6.1 seconds. The overall fuel economy of the Altima is above average with a 22 MPG (city) and 31 MPG (highway) overall rating.
